Ballachrink Farm Holiday Accommodation
Set in open farmland with uninterrupted views to North Barrule and Snaefell. You will find us 3.5 miles to the north of Ramsey.
To the north of Ballachrink are the Bride hills and the Ayres, said to be one of the sunniest places in the British Isles. There is excellent walking and birdwatching in this part of the Island. See if you can spot the seals of the Point of Ayre.
Ramsey provides our local shopping area. It has a picturesque, busy harbour, with an interesting Victorian Swing Bridge still operating over the upper part of the harbour. The Mooragh Park on the outskirts of town offers a children's play area, boating lake and pleasant walks where you can spend a few leisurely hours.
The electric tram has a terminus in Ramsey, and runs a regular service to Laxey and Douglas. This is a good way to travel and enjoy some of our spectacular coastal scenery, or take the tram to the very top of Snaefell from Laxey.
Whilst the Island is just 33 miles long and 12 miles wide we have such a diversity of scenery and heritage. One visit will not be enough.
